The Historic New Orleans Collection hosts a screening in conjunction with their current exhibition.

The Historic New Orleans Collection (THNOC) screens Robert Rossen’s classic film All the King’s Men (1949), in conjunction with the exhibition “From Winfield to Washington: The Life and Career of Huey P. Long.” The film, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1950, centers around the fictional Willie Stark, who “rises to political prominence by championing the common man while succumbing to the rampant corruption around him.” The film and Robert Penn Warren’s novel of the same name were inspired by the life and career of controversial Louisiana politician Huey P. Long.

Admission is free. More information is available on THNOC’s website.
