The New Orleans Center for the Gulf South and Pelican Bomb host the annual conference for the Association for the Study of the Arts of the Present.
This year, the New Orleans Center for the Gulf South and Pelican Bomb are hosting the annual conference for the Association for the Study of the Arts of the Present. Over four days, hundreds of scholars and artists from around the world give presentations about their research. Featured ASAP/10 speakers include Daphne A. Brooks, Trevor Paglen, and Dread Scott. A full program is available here.
Pelican Bomb is offering a limited number of waivers to cover the membership and registration fees associated with the conference. This support is for artists; independent curators, critics, and scholars without academic or institutional affiliation; and graduate students. Priority is given to New Orleans residents and Gulf Coast-area applicants.
For more information and to register, visit the ASAP/10 website.
