Take a virtual-reality tour of New Orleans’ old Rivergate Convention Center.
As part of their annual Mid Mod NOLA series, the Preservation Resource Center (PRC), the New Orleans Architecture Foundation (NOAF), and the Louisiana chapter of Docomomo US have organized a virtual-reality tour of the Rivergate Convention Center, which was built in 1968 and demolished in 1995. The iconic Rivergate was designed by Curtis and Davis Architects, the team behind the Superdome.
Tickets are $30 for the general public and $15 for PRC, NOAF, and Docomomo members. For more information, visit the PRC’s website.
