Dogfish Reading Series’ monthly showcase presents poet and educator A Scribe Called Quess? and musician and spoken-word artist Daiquiri Jones, followed by an open-mic session. In addition to being a poet, Quess cofounded local activist initiatives Black Youth Project 100 and Take ’Em Down NOLA.
