The Stacks and the New Orleans Free Press present Tangent, a performance night during which three artists debut short works inspired by books about social and political change. This month’s book is the catalogue Hippie Modernism: The Struggle for Utopia (2015), which accompanied the exhibition curated by Andrew Blauvelt at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Artists performing are Glenn Aucoin, Jae Nichelle, and Kendra Unique.
