Friends of Lafitte Greenway hosts an unveiling and a dedication ceremony for Michel Varisco’s Turning, 2017, commissioned by the Arts Council of New Orleans for “Prospect.4 the Lotus in Spite of the Swamp.” The piece features interactive prayer wheels for the Mississippi River and celebrates three periods of the area’s history.
