After the opening of “False Flags” at Pelican Bomb Gallery X, head over to the Contemporary Arts Center for a solo show by Adam Pendleton.

The Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) hosts a reception to celebrate the opening of “Adam Pendleton: Becoming Imperceptible,” curated by Andrea Andersson. The exhibition is the largest solo exhibition of the artist’s work in a museum in the United States. Much of Pendleton’s work investigates the interrelationships between language, politics, and identity.

The reception will include a procession featuring the Edna Karr High School drumline and a performance by David Reinfurt and Dan Fox of Steve Reich’s Clapping Music.

For more information on the exhibition, visit the CAC’s website.
