A dance performance at Ashé Cultural Arts Center looks at the history of feminism.
Mélange Dance Company presents HerStory at Ashé Cultural Arts Center. The performance looks at momentous events in the history of feminism, including the 1949 storming of the Sazerac, when a group of women entered the men-only bar at the Roosevelt Hotel and demanded to be served. HerStory is directed by Monica Ordoñez.
Tickets are $20. For more information, visit Mélange Dance Company’s website.
