The Historic New Orleans Collection hosts a New York-based scholar to discuss the history of race and the legal system.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition, "Purchased Lives," The Historic New Orleans Collection hosts Kenneth R. Aslakson, author of Making Race in the Courtroom and Associate Professor of History at Union College. The lecture will cover the history of race and the legal system in the United States.
