The Historic New Orleans collection presents a lecture and book signing in conjunction with its current exhibition.
Nicholas J. Meis gives a lecture about his 2014 book, New Orleans Hurricanes from the Start, which looks at the long-term effects of major storms on the city. The talk—presented in conjunction with “The Katrina Decade: Images of an Altered City”— will be followed by a book signing at the Historic New Orleans Collection’s (THNOC) Williams Research Center.
