Antenna Gallery hosts a presentation by San Francisco-based artist Ethan Rafal about his recent book and project.
Ethan Rafal shares his ongoing project, Shock and Awe, which examines war, decay, and documentation. While traveling across the United States for many years, Rafal collected images, texts, and objects into a journal that questions the ways we create and interpret personal and public histories.
Rafal’s presentation at Antenna Gallery is part of a national tour, reconnecting Shock and Awe with the people and places who helped build it. This event will take the form of a participatory group discussion with copious amounts of pie and whiskey.
This event is free and open to the public. More information is available on Antenna Gallery’s website.
