The Joan Mitchell Center welcomes artists, arts workers, and neighbors for breakfast and an informal discussion.
The Joan Mitchell Center (JMC) continues its Community Coffee programming with a discussion about the purpose and importance of residency programs for artists’ studio practices.” The conversation includes three of the JMC’s artists-in-residence—Cece Givens, Heather Hart, and Philemona Williamson—and will be moderated by Mariana Sheppard, Interim Associate Director of Education and Public Programs at the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans.
The conversation begins at 9:00 am. Coffee and refreshments are provided by Pagoda Café.
