New York-based artist Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow’s brings her durational performance to three historic sites in New Orleans.

The School of Visual Arts in New York presents artist Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow’s Gypsies’ Picnic: The Feast of those gone by, 2015, in three historic sites in New Orleans. In the performance, Lyn-Kee-Chow enacts rituals that reflect on colonial histories, tourism, and labor.

The performance begins at 1 pm in Jackson Square, continues at 2 pm near Congo Square in Louis Armstrong Park, and concludes at 3 pm in St. Louis Cemetery No. 1.
