The New Orleans Center for the Gulf South presents a talk with writer and activist Kalamu ya Salaam.

The New Orleans Center for the Gulf South presents its annual Sylvia R. Frey lecture. This year’s featured speaker is writer and activist Kalamu ya Salaam. During the talk, ya Salaam shares his latest work, Be About Beauty, a collection of nonfiction essays about New Orleans culture.
