In partnership with Science on Screen, Shotgun Cinema presents director Betzabé García’s Kings of Nowhere (2015), a documentary filmed in San Marcos, Mexico, after the town flooded due to a broken dam. Before the movie, director Katie Mathew’s short film Refuge (2018) plays. Following the screening, Natalie Montoya, Wetland Analyst at the Gulf Restoration Network, leads a discussion.
