Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University presents a screening of an unfinished film by director Sergei Eisenstein.

In conjunction with “Clay in Transit: Contemporary Mexican Ceramics,” Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University presents a free screening of director Sergei Eisenstein’s unfinished film ¡Que viva México!, which was completed by Grigori Aleksandrov and released in 1979. Eisenstein’s film aimed to capture a sweeping view of Mexican history from prehistory to the Mexican Revolution.

This event is free and open to the public. The screening takes place in the Freeman Auditorium in the university’s Woldenberg Art Center. For more information, visit the museum’s website.
