The Contemporary Arts Center presents Urban Bush Women’s Hair & Other Stories, a dance performance that addresses race, gender, and economic inequality through the lens of hair. Urban Bush Women was founded in 1984 by choreographer Jawole Willa Jo Zollar as a platform to celebrate the stories of women from the African diaspora.
