Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University opens two new exhibitions of ceramic works.

Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University celebrates the opening of “Clay in Transit: Contemporary Mexican Ceramics,” which features works by seven Mexican artists, and “Clay in Place: Highlights from the Collection,” which highlights artwork in the museum’s permanent collection. At 6:30 pm, Nuria Rodriguez Sadurni, Director of Special Projects at the Cultural Cooperation office of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gives a talk, followed by a reception in the galleries, 7:30–9:00 pm.
