As part of its regular Friday Nights at NOMA series, the New Orleans Museum of Art presents a gallery talk with former director E. John Bullard, whose collection is on view in “Personalities in Clay: American Studio Ceramics from the E. John Bullard Collection,” a new exhibition featuring ceramic artworks from 1940 to the present.

The museum also presents a screening of filmmaker Terrence Turner’s Adele’s Wish (2009), a documentary about World War II refugee Maria Altmann, who sued the Austrian government over five Gustav Klimt paintings that were looted from her family by the Nazis in 1938. The film is part of NOMA’s Collect-O-Mania film series. Watch a trailer for Adele’s Wish below.

Regular museum admission applies. For more information, visit NOMA’s website.
