New Orleans-based artist Jan Gilbert gives a lecture about her practice.
As part of its regular Friday Nights at NOMA programs, the New Orleans Museum of Art presents an artist talk with Jan Gilbert, who will discuss her practice and the influence of printmaker Jim Steg, whose retrospective is currently on view at the museum. The talk is followed by a screening of director John Waters’ Cry-Baby (1990).
Regular museum admission applies. For more information, visit NOMA’s website.
