A group of artists, curators, and scholars discuss the relationship between art and its environments at the Joan Mitchell Center.
The Joan Mitchell Center hosts a book release of artist Julie Morel’s Shake What Your Mama Gave You, which looks at art, environments, and communities. Morel leads a conversation with artists Katrina Andry, Erik Kiesewetter, and Gina Philips; curator Anna Mecugni; Maaike Gouwenberg and Joris Lindhout of Deltaworkers; and Robin Vander, Associate Professor of English at Xavier University of Louisiana.
