The Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University presents Prison Gourmet, an ongoing artistic project and community gathering organized by Los Angeles-based artist Karla Diaz. This iteration of Prison Gourmet focuses on exchanging recipes written by previously incarcerated women in New Orleans, highlighting foods and cooking methods from prison.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the museum’s website. Please note: The workshop takes place at Sister Hearts Thrift Store in Arabi, not at Tulane University’s uptown campus.
