The New Orleans Museum of Art holds an opening reception for its new exhibition of 19th-century American photographs.

As part of its regular Friday Nights at NOMA programs, the New Orleans Museum of Art hosts an opening reception for “East of the Mississippi: Nineteenth-Century American Landscape Photography,” an exhibition exploring the origins of landscape photography in North America and the impact photographers had on the country’s development.
