One of A Studio in the Woods’ current resident artists gives a presentation of his work at Tulane City Center.

Tulane City Center hosts a presentation by A Studio in the Woods’ (ASITW) current resident artist Jebney Lewis, who will activate his project Songs of Home Songs of Change. The installation, created collaboratively with musician Rick Snow, writer Christopher Staudinger, and a group of local high-school students, features a sculptural map of New Orleans that plays field recordings gathered across the city.

The Creative Alliance of New Orleans presents an exhibition of Lewis’ installation on the third floor of the Myrtle Banks Building, which opens on Friday, May 20, 6 - 9 pm. For more information about the project, visit the ASITW website.
