Visit the Myrtle Banks Building for a new solo exhibition organized by the Creative Alliance of New Orleans.
The Creative Alliance of New Orleans (CANO) celebrates the opening of “Honoring Willie White,” an exhibition of works produced in the 1980s by William “Willie” White, a self-taught artist based in Central City. Many of White’s drawings reimagine the horrors of the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. “Honoring Willie White” is on view through May 14.
CANO hosts a reception in conjunction with the grand opening of Dryades Public Market.
