The Japan Society of New Orleans screens an infamous dystopian thriller.

As part of its Japan Cinema Series, the Japan Society of New Orleans and the Charitable Film Network present a screening of director Kinji Fukasaku’s Battle Royale (2000) at Café Istanbul. The dystopian thriller centers around a deadly game, in which middle-school students are forced by the government to fight to the death.
