A performance offers a peek into the history of New Orleans’ lesbian bars.
Last Call: New Orleans Dyke Bar History Project presents Alleged Lesbian Activities, a performance-in-progress based on oral histories of the lesbian bar scene in the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Through interviews, Last Call aims to preserve the stories of the city’s lesbian bars and the activism sparked by their communities. The group is working on a full-length production to share the contents of their growing archive.
General admission tickets are $15. No one is turned away for lack of funds. For more information, visit Facebook.
