Promethean Theatre Company partners with In Good Company to present Shakespeare outdoors.
In Good Company and Promethean Theatre Company present Shakespeare's The Tempest for two weekends in July at 7:30pm. Directed by Rebecca Frank, the outdoor production aims to be a neighborhood-centered event, a love letter to the unique community of the Bywater, and a homecoming for native New Orleanian, Kathleen McManus. Joined by her husband, John Ammerman, the pair will play Ariel and Prospero respectively. The production will feature compositions written and performed by Ratty Scurvics and original choreography by Jeffery Gunshol.
General admission is $15 and all walkups are cash at the door (pay what you wish). To see exact dates and purchase tickets in advance, visit Brown Paper Tickets.
