As a part of the New Orleans Loving Festival, join the Ashé Cultural Arts Center for a preview of Mixed Match.
Mixed Match is a human story told from the perspective of youth who are forced to discover their identities through deadly illnesses, when their mixed backgrounds threaten their chances at survival, highlighting why in this day and age, ethnicity and ancestry still matter. Mixed Match is in post production and only a portion of the film will be previewed. There will be a short discussion with filmmaker, Jeff Chiba Stearns, and Mixed Marrow Founder and Director, Athena Mari Asklipiadis, after the preview.
This event is free and open to the public.
