Join the Tulane African-American Women's Society for Hair Affair, a panel discussion and celebration of hair moderated by mixed media artist and queer ancestral alchemist Soraya Jean Louis. Panelists include Monique Herbert, founder of the New Orleans Natural Hair Expo; Gabrielle Allen, founder of the natural hair blog; and Dr. Marva L. Lewis, Associate Professor of Sociocultural Psychology at Tulane.

Stylists will be available for hair consultations and gift bags with free samples will be given out. All proceeds from the event will benefit Project Butterfly NOLA.

If you love hair as much as Pelican Bomb, keep an eye out for more on our exhibition, "(De)tangled: A Living Salon" opening May 9.
