The Tulane African American Women's Society celebrates their annual Hair Affair with a panel discussion.
Join the Tulane African-American Women's Society for Hair Affair, a panel discussion and celebration of hair moderated by mixed media artist and queer ancestral alchemist Soraya Jean Louis. Panelists include Monique Herbert, founder of the New Orleans Natural Hair Expo; Gabrielle Allen, founder of the natural hair blog strawberricurls.com; and Dr. Marva L. Lewis, Associate Professor of Sociocultural Psychology at Tulane.
Stylists will be available for hair consultations and gift bags with free samples will be given out. All proceeds from the event will benefit Project Butterfly NOLA.
