The Art + Feminism Wikipedia Project, the Newcomb Archives, and Vorhoff Library Special Collections of the Newcomb College Institute are organizing and hosting the first Women in the Arts Edit-a-thon in New Orleans. The event will focus on improving Wikipedia entries related to notable women artists and art world figures, with an emphasis on women artists in the Gulf South. Activities will include new editor orientation and training.

Please bring your own laptop if possible, but some laptops will be available to borrow. While participants of all genders and skill levels are welcome to sign up, this event is focused on encouraging women-born and women-identified editors.
