The Mini Art Center (MAC) is currently a pop-up art studio for children and families to explore hands-on art making together. The MAC will preview their open studio program with an event in Algiers Point on Saturday, March 28 beginning at 1pm.

The MAC's mission is to grow into a brick and mortar space with an open studio and art gallery serving children ages 5-12 and their families. The MAC will offer a variety of affordable art programs for New Orleans residents and visitors. Programs will include after-school classes, summer and school break art camps, and open studio hours. Programs will cover many disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, stop-motion animation, graphic design, and bookmaking.

This event is free and open to the public.
