As part of a series of films by director John Carpenter, the Prytania Theatre will show the horror classic Halloween (1978), which follows Michael Meyers’ gruesome return home after 15 years at a psychiatric hospital. Jamie Lee Curtis made her film debut in Halloween, and the film launched a successful franchise that includes seven sequels to date.
