Newcomb Art Museum presents a film series in conjunction with its current exhibition.

Tulane University’s Newcomb Art Museum presents Beautiful Losers (2008) as part of a film series that accompanies its exhibition “A Shared Space: KAWS, Karl Wirsum, and Tomoo Gokita.” Beautiful Losers follows a group of artists inspired by skateboarding, graffiti, and alternative music who rose to prominence in the 1990s. The film features interviews with Shepard Fairey, Ed Templeton, Harmony Korine, and Mike Mills.

This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Freeman Auditorium in the Woldenberg Art Center at Tulane University. For more information, visit the museum’s website.
