On Thursday, August 21, P.3 Reads will present Prospect artists Keith Calhoun and Chandra McCormick in conversation with poet Kalamu ya Salaam at 6 pm at the New Orleans Public Library's Rosa Keller Branch. Calhoun and McCormick's work documents the African-American community in New Orleans and chronicles the unique traditions and deep-rooted elements of Louisiana’s culture that increasingly represent a vanishing way of life.
