Tulane University screens a 1979 film about exiled Cubans living in New York City.
Tulane University’s Cuban and Caribbean Studies Institute and the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation present a screening of directors Leon Ichaso and Orlando Jiménez Leal’s El Supér (1979). Based off a play by Iván Acosta, the film offers a look at the life of exiled Cubans living in New York City. Following the screening, Acosta discusses his work.
