The New Orleans Museum of Art continues its Picturing Us film series.
As part of its regular Friday Nights at NOMA programs, the New Orleans Museum of Art presents a screening of director Tim Wolff’s The Sons of Tennessee Williams (2011). The documentary gives a glimpse into New Orleans’ gay Mardi Gras balls and connects their history with that of the local and national gay rights movements. The screening follows a tour of “Changing Course: Reflections on New Orleans Histories” and music by the Abita Stumps.
Regular museum admission applies. For more information, visit NOMA’s website.
