The New Orleans Museum of Art continues its film series dedicated to director and artist John Waters.
In conjunction with “Pride of Place: The Making of Contemporary Art in New Orleans,” the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) screens director John Waters’ Polyester (1981). The satire of suburban life, which stars Divine and Tab Hunter, originally premiered in “Odorama”; the film was accompanied by a set of scratch-and-sniff cards that allowed moviegoers to smell on-screen scents.
Tickets are $12, and admission is free to NOMA members. For more information, visit NOMA’s website.
