Last Call is hosting a workshop to learn about transcribing oral histories.
Last Call is launching Queer Histories/Queer Futures, a new series of workshops aiming to share information about how to record oral histories through transcriptions, audio recordings, and performance. For the first workshop, Wendy Gaudin from Xavier University teaches participants about the ethics of recording oral histories, and Last Call organizers discuss transcriptions. Afterward, participants have the opportunity to complete paid transcription work for Last Call.
