The Contemporary Arts Center screens a documentary about Louisiana’s disappearing coastline.

In conjunction with Cecilia Vicuña’s “About to Happen,” the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) presents a screening of directors Rebecca Marshall Ferris and Jason Ferris’ Can’t Stop the Water (2013), which documents the community of Native Americans on Isle de Jean Charles, Louisiana, who are grappling with rapid land loss.

This event is free and open to the public, but a reservation is requested. Visit the CAC’s website for more information.
