Chicago-based writer, artist, and educator Lisa Vinebaum gives a talk at Tulane University about the relationship between craft and social initiatives. In her lecture, Vinebaum will discuss projects by several artists who are blending social practice and textile techniques to discuss issues of labor, industrialization, and collectivity.

This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Stone Auditorium in Tulane University’s Woldenberg Art Center.
