Café Istanbul hosts a performance by the famed puppet company.
The Bread and Puppet Theater brings a new puppet show to New Orleans. “The Public Access Center for the Obvious Presents: The Situation” is written and directed by Peter Schumann, who founded the company in 1963 on New York’s Lower East Side to blur the lines between performance and social engagement. The night also includes performances by Mike Spara of The New Movement and the Salt Wives.
Tickets are $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information, visit Facebook.
