A documentary examines the relationship between the art establishment and “outsider” artists.
The New Orleans Film Society (NOFS) and the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) screen the documentary Almost There (2014), a profile of 83-year-old self-taught artist Peter Anton. The film documents Anton’s first major exhibition and examines the relationship between the art world and “outsider” artists.
