Theater Mitu’s performance at the Contemporary Arts Center is inspired by a series of interviews in Juárez, Mexico.
The Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) presents Theater Mitu’s JUÁREZ: A Documentary Mythology, a performance that looks into the realities and mythologies of Juárez, Mexico, which sits on the border with the United States near El Paso, Texas. For the performance, Theater Mitu uses transcriptions of interviews with the region’s residents to explore sociopolitical issues in the area.
