Learn more about applying to the Platforms Fund, which will award up to $60,000 to artist-driven projects in the Greater New Orleans region.

The Platforms Fund hosts the first of three public information sessions for those interested in applying for a grant this cycle of funding. During the talk, organizers from Pelican Bomb, Press Street, and Ashé Cultural Arts Center describe the program and its requirements, and the group discusses budgeting, timelines, and everything necessary for a successful application.

This session focuses on ethical and effective grant writing for the Platforms Fund and beyond. Several recipients of Platforms Fund grants in the last granting cycle—including Taco Truck Theater, Open Screen, and Last Call: New Orleans Dyke Bar History Project—give short presentations about their projects and the application process.

Visit the Platforms Fund website for more information.
