The Foundation Gallery hosts a night of talks presented by arts initiative Blights Out, artist Loren Schwerd, and Cypress Building Conservation.

The gallery’s current group exhibition, “House,” will be on view, and the gallery will donate a portion of all sales to Blights Out’s plan to “purchase, restore, and transform a blighted structure in the 6th Ward of New Orleans into a cultural resource center that will provide a home base for creative action on issues of blight, disinvestment, and permanent housing affordability.”

For this event, there is a suggested donation of $5 to $15, which benefits Blights Out. Check Facebook for more information about the event and each presenter.
