Richard Meyer, Professor of Art History at Stanford University, presents a talk at Tulane University.
Tulane University hosts Richard Meyer, Professor of Art History at Stanford University. Meyer will discuss self-taught artist, Morris Hirshfield, and his widely ridiculed exhibition of female nudes and animal paintings, which showed at the Museum of Modern Art in 1943.
The talk will take place at the Stone Auditorium in the Woldenberg Art Center of Tulane University at 6:30pm with a reception to follow.
