After a hiatus, the PATOIS Film Festival returns to premiere international social justice-oriented films.

Founded by New Orleans artists and activists in 2004, PATOIS: The New Orleans International Human Rights Film Festival is dedicated to nurturing the city’s human rights community, supporting the work of local organizers and organizations involved in these struggles, and providing a forum for artistic expression of local and international issues.

The official festival Kick-Off party will take place on Wednesday, March 11 at 8pm (2435 Esplanade Ave). Festival programs will be available along with the opportunity to meet local filmmakers and buy tickets for film screenings.
