The Japan Society of New Orleans screens an animated Christmas mystery.
As part of their Japanese Cinema Series, the Japan Society of New Orleans hosts a screening of Satoshi Kon and Shôgo Furuya’s Tokyo Godfathers (2003) at Café Istanbul. In the film, a group of Tokyo vagrants happen upon an abandoned newborn baby in a trash bin on Christmas Eve and attempt to return the child to its parents.
