The New Orleans Film Society hosts a free drive-in movie event at the Whole Foods Market parking garage.
The New Orleans Film Society presents a free screening of two cult classics. Carrie (1976), which is based on Stephen King’s novel, tells the story of a girl whose supernatural powers flare up in the face of high-school bullying. Sharknado (2013) is an absurd adventure film in which a group of friends try to avoid the wrath of a storm of man-eating sharks.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place on the rooftop parking lot of the Whole Foods Market in Mid-City. More information is available on the Film Society’s website.
